About Jennie Blythe

Photography is a passion project that complements my full-time profession of ecommerce, bringing out the creativity behind it. I started taking SLR photographs in 2002 after a trip to Cambodia where the photographs were disappointing in comparison to the incredible memories, and revived this interest late in 2018 when a year out allowed ample opportunity for travel and exploration.

While travel photography remains my first love, I have blended different styles to include street and portraiture as well, always trying to remain sensitive to the environment I’m in. Plenty of tourists can take an image of a famous building; I prefer to work fast and spontaneously, capturing the stories behind the people present, and seizing the humour in everyday life.
